Furlough
How it works
Test modeListings, deal rooms, terms and feedback are real and recorded. Escrow is not: funding, release and refunds are written down but no money moves, and fees land in the treasury ledger as notional lines.

How disputes are decided

A middleman reads the room, the terms and the evidence, then chooses release, refund or split — and writes the reason. Decisions are recorded on both members’ records.

Who decides
Furlough staff, at launch

Middlemen are staff. A middleman with any interest in the deal recuses.

What counts
The checklist in the terms

Delivered means what the terms say it means. This is why vague scope loses disputes — for both sides.

Timing
Open before release

Either party can open a dispute up to the moment of release. Escrow freezes immediately and neither side can move it.

Outcome
Release, refund or split — with a reason

The written reason is shown to both parties. Losing a dispute isn’t hidden, and it isn’t subtracted from your φ either.
