Test modeListings, deal rooms, terms and feedback are real and recorded. Escrow is not: funding, release and refunds are written down but no money moves, and fees land in the treasury ledger as notional lines.
How the Exchange works
Members sell work here and buyers find them by record, not by pitch. Every transaction runs through a deal room with a middleman and escrow. Nothing else is protected.
Step 1
Terms, written and versioned
Scope, price, deadline, what delivered means, and the fee. Both parties accept the same version. Any edit resets acceptance, so nobody agrees to something they didn’t read.
Step 2
The buyer funds escrow
Money goes to the escrow provider, not to us and not to the seller. The room says Funded. Sellers: don’t start work before it does.
Step 3
Delivered, then released
The seller marks delivery against the checklist. The buyer confirms, or 5 days pass without a dispute and it releases automatically.
Step 4
Feedback, tied to a real deal
Both sides leave one piece of feedback. You cannot leave feedback without a deal, which is why the record is worth reading.
