Test modeListings, deal rooms, terms and feedback are real and recorded. Escrow is not: funding, release and refunds are written down but no money moves, and fees land in the treasury ledger as notional lines.
Fees
One flat fee, 5%, shown as a number before anyone commits. On services and briefs the buyer pays it, so sellers keep their full price. On businesses and products the seller pays it. Every fee goes to the Furlough treasury and appears as a ledger line.
Services · briefs
Buyer pays 5%
A $600 service: the buyer pays $630, the seller receives $600, the treasury receives $30.
Businesses · products

A $48,000 site sale: the buyer pays $48,000, the seller receives $45,600, the treasury receives $2,400.
Disputes
Fee follows the released amount
If a dispute splits the escrow, the fee is charged on what was released, not on the original price.
